Around The World In 80 Days Motor ChallengeIt's all over, 40 teams making an epic journey around the earth aboard vintage cars. They arrived at London's Tower Bridge for the Finish Line on July 18th as scheduled. The cars were battered, teams nearly as fatigued as their cars, but they made it!The first forty days took them across Europe and Asia, nearly two weeks of that crossing China. From June 10th through July 7th the rallyists traveled from Anchorage, Alaska to New York City via Yukon Territory, the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Banff, Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks, The Black Hills, the forests of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan, along The Great Lakes - Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie and Ontario, through Canada again to Niagara Falls, then crossing New York state to "the Big Apple". On this site you will find daily updates beginning June 24th as the teams crossed the United States from Shelby, Montana, to New York City. Reporter Tim Winker and photographer Randy Jokela were there to share details and images of this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The Around The World Motor Challenge was divided into five legs:
