Historic Rally Trophy is a challenging racing game and the first "historic rally" simulation. One of the most exciting elements of the game are classic race cars such as Ford Cortina, Fiat 600 Abarth and Morris Mini Cooper. There are ten shining old classics to drive in total, all of which have been modelled in great detail and extremely realistically. Great emphasis has been put in visualization. The race passes through beautiful landscapes with varying weather conditions such as daylight, sunset, snowfall, rain, storm and foggy weather. Everything imaginable is included, such as fine particle effects, skid marks and reflections. We have used the latest digital photo technology to create a more realistic and stunning graphical environment than ever before. We have developed a new state-of-the-art 3D engine and extremely accurate vehicle dynamics for this game. The engine supports all the latest 3D graphic cards and gives a very high performance with stunning visual effects. Our car dynamics make it possible to have incredible playability and impressive car handling. Buffum to compete in Monte Carlo Historique
John Buffum, owner of Libra Racing and eleven time SCCA Pro Rally champion, will take to the byways of Europe in late January when he and Neil Wilson team up once again for a vintage rally, the Monte Carlo Historique. Buffum and Wilson have run quite a few vintage events together in the past few years, last year finishing second overall at the Classic Marathon (Ypres to San Remo). Once again they will be using Wilson's Porsche 356. Also competing in the MCH are Tom Jones and Ralph Beckman in Beckman's freshly restored 1967 Plymouth Barracuda (see story at VintageRally.com). The Monte Carlo Historique is one of three Monte Carlo revival rallies being held this winter, the others are the CRA Winter Challenge and The Winter Trial, organized by HERO Holland. The Automobile Club of Monaco (ACM) organizes the Monte Carlo Historique, and it is the only vintage rally allowed to use "Monte Carlo" in its title. Kevin Clemens and Peter Pleitner are entered in the Winter Challenge in a 1967 Saab 96 (see story at VintageRally.com). |
