  • Historic Class - Vehicles manufactured more than 25 years before the start of the current calendar year as per the date stated on the vehicle registration. Navigation equipment must either conform to Calculator class or be manufactured more than 25 years before the start of the current calendar year.

• Monte Shelton Northwest Classic Motor Rally
  August 7 - 10, 2003 - Portland, Oregon
  Sponsored by Monte Shelton Motor Company for the benefit of the March of Dimes.
  Organized by the Northwest Classic Rally Committee of the Alfa Romeo Owners of Oregon.
  

• 17th Annual New London to New Brighton Antique Car Run
  Antique Car Run, Inc.
  August 9, 2003 - New London to New Brighton, Minnesota
  • All vehicles from 1908 or earlier,
    or any 1 or 2 cylinder vehicles up to 1915.
  • Antique motorcycles featured for 2003.
  • Electric cars from the early 1900s.
  • Events begin on Wednesday, Aug. 6, with shorter warm-up tours.
  • Entry form, schedule, maps.

• Targa Newfoundland
  September 13 - 20, 2003
  500 km of racing in a 2000 km route on the paved roads of Newfoundland.

  TARGA CLASS

  • Performance competition for fully prepared street legal vehicles, on closed, paved, roads.
  • Vehicles are divided into 4 classes: Historic (1900- 1946), Classic (1947-1976), Modern (1977- Current) & Panamericana (1900-Current).

  TOURING CLASS

  • For any make and model of street legal vehicle (1900-Current)
  • Time, Speed, Distance (T.S.D.) style competition, designed to reward precision driving.
  • Minimal crew and vehicle preparation
  • Basic Safety Equipment
  • Experience all the wonders of Targa Newfoundland at a more leisurely pace.

• Roadrunner 1000 Classic Car Rally
  September 20 - 21, 2003
  Santa Fe, New Mexico
  The event is managed and hosted by the Santa Fe Vintage Car Club, Santa Fe's premiere and oldest car club. Well-known race driver and author Denise McCluggage lives in Santa Fe, and she has lent her organizational support and wonderful sense of fun to the event.

• Forza Mille
  Open to Any Exotic Car of Any year
  Vintage Rallies, Inc.
  Sept. 21 - 26, 2003
  Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine.

• Bridge Hampton Road Rallye
  October 3 - 4, 2003
  Bridgehampton, New York
  A 100+ mile rally to commemorate the road racing history of this Long Island hamlet. Any sports car built through 1959 may apply and the Historical Society will determine eligibility. • La Carrera Panamericana
  October 24 - 30, 2003
  • The Original Mexican Road Race.
  • Competition Classes to 1954 / Historic (stock cars) to 1965.
  • 3,200 km. of very brisk driving from Tuxtla Gutierrez to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

• Texas 1000
  Nov 2-7, 2003
  San Antonio, TX

• Ramada Express International Rally
  Vintage Rallies, Inc.
  December 11-14, 2003
  Laughlin, Nevada.
  Organized by American Rally Sport Group. Vintage Class, 20 years and older. The course is two days of very long competition in the forest and mountain roads of Arizona's western Grand Canyon on the Hualapai Indian lands. Entry in the International event requires full safety cages and equipment.
